INVENTOR OF THE INVERTER

Toshiba Inverter Air Conditioning encompasses a comprehensive range to suit residential and commercial applications. Toshiba Inverter Air Conditioning systems provide excellent energy efficiency, are reliable, and run on R410a non-ozone depleting refrigerant.

When Toshiba Invented the Inverter technology in 1981, Toshiba has continued to maintain a comfortable technological advantage over many competitors . The development of the and new exclusive to Toshiba DC Hybrid Inverter system has reaffirmed this capability to innovate and maintain the technology advantage on what is a rapidly growing air conditioning market.

KEY POINTS

  • DC Hybrid Inverter quickly achieves and maintains room temperature

  • High energy savings due to accurate digital controls

  • Exceptional reliability and operation due to elimination of compressor ON/OFF cycle

  • Twin rotary compressor ensures smooth linear rotation of the compressor for quite running

The Toshiba range of products includes a wide choice of units that operate on the R-410A refrigerant. R-410A is a non-ozone depleting refrigerant that meets the strict requirements of the Montreal Protocol. This protocol required a move away from ozone depleting refrigerants to those, which have a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential, or ODP as it is referred to within the Air Conditioning industry.

R-410A is a higher efficiency refrigerant than others on the market. In fact, R-410A is up to 12% more efficient than R-407C, and up to 16% more efficient than Freon R-22.
