This beautifully renovated attached semi, located in the eastern suburbs,
presented a large air conditioning design challenge to the Penrith Air design team.
Owned by Sydney Rugby League legend Brad Fittler and his wife Marie,
this renovated semi came from less auspicious beginnings.
With amazing vision and a passion for design, Brad and Marie removed more than 1500 tonnes of sandstone from the existing site to create a huge entertainment area with double garage. View Rear Elevation

The Air Conditioning System Design
The air conditioning project evolved with many on-site changes during construction. However, the decision to rake the upstairs ceilings left limited options for traditional ducted air conditioning.
Fortunately, the Carrier/Toshiba Super Modular Multi System (SMMS) air conditioner provided the perfect solution for this air conditioning project.
The SMMS air conditioner allows a selection of 13 different styles of indoor units all connected to a single, twin digital inverter outdoor condenser.

The design for this air conditioning project incorporated a single 10HP, 28kW outdoor condenser, serving 6 individual indoor fan coil units, each with individual thermostats allowing seperate temperature control for each unit.
